It’s the basis of democracy that you control your own body. And its the basis of hierarchy and totalitarian regimes that you don’t. Controlling whether or not a woman has a baby is an absolute demonstration of patriarchy. And these restrictive policies are most directly hurting and killing marginalized communities.
Abortion is essential health care. Religion has no place in the decision making of what we as women do with our bodies
The overturning of Roe v. Wade disproportionately impacts women of color, as they are more likely to obtain abortions, have more limited access to health care, and face underlying inequities.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to The AFIYA Center Young Black Women for Choice program (YB4C).
AFIYA is an organization based in Northern Texas that was founded in response to the disproportional prevalence of HIV among Black women and girls in Texas. Their work focuses on Reproductive Justice, abortion access, maternal mortality, and HIV programming.
